Frasershot Studios were commissioned recently to produce marketing imagery for a new website and advertising campaign for a large lighting manufacturer in the UK. We organised the shoot from start to finish scouting locations and models for the 2 day shoot in central London. A fantastic shoot which involved Craig Fraser shooting, along side our stylist Jo Bigsby.
We found a fantastic property to shoot in Clapham, it was a stunning home which had been used for film shoots and photography in the past. Owned by the chap who owns The Ivy. The rooms were spacious and contained lots of character which helped us in setting the right backdrop for the advertising imagery.
The shoot was all completed using the Hasselblad on a range of lens from the 80mm, 120mm and the 28mm. All shot using the Profoto D4 and 4 proheads and a range of light shaping tools, The majority were shot on the Profoto reflector's with bare heads.
About 25% of the imagery was destined for web banners so we had to extremely aware of the final output crop which we used Hasselblads overlay Facility to shoot straight into the proposed website space to check it worked rather than risk it and have to retouch heavily at a later stage.
Above is an image which was destined for a web banner without the branding and copy for the actual site. Fantastic shoot which seen the whole Frasershot team involved in the process.
